Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is one of the most exciting young players in the NBA today. One of the reasons behind his fame is his high-flying antics, which every now and again, has the ability to completely blow our minds.

One particular moment that has stuck with us is when the Grizzlies stud tried to jump over Kevin Love on an audacious dunk attempt. In case you haven't seen it yet (why?) or just want to see it again (why not?), then here it is for your viewing pleasure:

It's been nearly two years since Ja Morant tried to end Love's career with that insane dunk attempt, but apparently, the Grizzlies star still thinks about that moment regularly. As a matter of fact, Morant recently confessed that this almost-dunk is something he replays in his mind a lot (h/t Malika Andrews on Twitter):

Morant believes that had it gone in, his dunk “would have been the best dunk ever.” This is a pretty bold claim from the Grizzlies guard, but quite honestly, I sort of agree with his statement here.

Vince Carter did a similar dunk during the Olympics many years ago and that moment is considered by many as the greatest dunk of all time. Morant, who is 6-foot-3, jumping over a 6-foot-8, five-time All-Star in Kevin Love would have probably come as a close second.
