Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies have been the toast of the NBA throughout the midway point of the season. They've won 11 straight contests and show no signs of slowing down.

The extended hot streak has propelled Ja Morant into the superstar stratosphere – and that's reflected in the latest returns for the NBA All-Star fan vote. The Grizzlies star, who previously ranked third among Western Conference guards, has now leapfrogged Luka Doncic for the second place just behind the untouchable Stephen Curry.

The love shown to him was not lost on Ja Morant. The Grizzlies frontman was an emotional figure on the podium after being asked about the All-Star results.

“My fanbase, man. You know I'm thankful for them,” Morant said of the Grizzlies fans who have come out in droves to support him. “Grateful. Man, I don't even know what to say honestly. I'm mostly in like a little emotional moment just to see how much fans I got who want to see me in the All-Star game. Big-time, man. Thank ya'll, love ya'll for rooting for me.”

Ja Morant is having a monster season thus far, bumping his scoring average to nearly 25 points per game with career-high marks across the board. The Grizzlies will go as far as he'll be able to take them.
