Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant is already the odds-on favorite to win Rookie of the Year. The 20-year-old rookie out of Murray State showed exactly what has made him one of the most exciting young players in the league on Friday during the Rising Stars Challenge.

On a fastbreak play during Friday's All-Star festivities, Morant showed off his athleticism with a 360 slam.

Morant came into the NBA as one of the most hyped players in the class of 2019. The No. 2 pick has lived up to expectations and is averaging 17.6 points, 7.1 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game while shooting 49.3 percent from the field and 35.8 percent from deep.

Ja's spectacular play this season has transformed Memphis into a possible playoff team. The Grizzlies are currently in the eighth seed in the tough Western Conference with a 28=26 record..

After No.1 pick Zion Williamson missed the first half of the NBA season, Ja Morant has certainly separated himself as the league's top rookie.
