It was a magical night at Wembley with England securing a massive victory over Germany in the Round of 16 at Euro 2020. Harry Kane, who bagged the second goal, and Jack Grealish, who came on as a substitute late in the second half and made an immediate impact, both reacted to England's historic win not long after the final whistle:
For Kane, he broke his scoring drought late in the final period when Grealish whipped in a picture-perfect cross right onto Kane's head. England striker Raheem Sterling also continued to wreak havoc in the final third, netting his side's first goal.
Grealish has been applauded by pundits and fans alike for his energy and creativity. When Gareth Southgate decided to bring the Aston Villa man on, the England supporters absolutely lost it. He injected life into the Three Lions attack and also played a key part in the build-up of their first goal.
As you can see by the photos in Grealish's tweet above, the atmosphere inside Wembley was absolutely electrifying. After France was shockingly knocked out by the Swiss on Monday, England is one of the surefire favorites to lift the trophy on July 11th. They now await their quarterfinal opponent, which will be the winner of this Ukraine and Sweden clash.
