Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young hit Taj Gibson and the New York Knicks with the ultimate disrespect, and Ja Morant and Donovan Mitchell couldn't believe it.

Late in the fourth quarter of the contest, Young put the perfect icing on his 45-point cake with an incredible crossover against Taj Gibsonā€“sending the Knicks forward on the floor in the most embarrassing fashion. Making things even better? He completed the play and bagged the jumper for his final field goal of the game.

Of course everyone who saw that play were left impressed with Trae Young and probably felt pity for Taj Gibson and the Knicks. ā€˜Bockers fans are probably regretting getting on the bad side of Trae after all those ā€œF**k Trae Youngā€ chants.

Ja Morant couldn't help but laugh at what happened, even mocking the Knicks by asking where Gibson was going. Donovan Mitchell, for his part, was simply in awe as he asked the Hawks star to ā€œchill.ā€

Young finished with 45 points as he led the Hawks to an important 117-111 win. He also added eight assists to his tally as the Knicks struggle to contain him.

The Hawks further strengthened their bid to claim one of the four play-in spots. Plus, Ice Trae got additional bragging rights whenever he visits New York.
