The whole world witnessed the Golden State Warriors make history on Thursday night after winning their fourth NBA championship in the past eight years. Even Atalanta Hawks star Trae Young could not help but come out with his own desperate confession after seeing Stephen Curry and Co. lift the Larry O’Brien trophy yet again.
Young took to Twitter on Friday to express just how jealous he is of the Warriors’ recent conquest:
“Damn.. I wanna win championships so bad !,” the Hawks guard said in his tweet.

Young has been in the league for four years now and a championship continues to be a pipe dream for him. The farthest he’s gone in the playoffs with the Hawks was last season when they made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals only to fall to the eventual champs, the Milwaukee Bucks.
It is clear, however, that Young is as motivated as ever. He also recently welcomed a bundle of joy in his life and is now a first-time dad. This should only add to the fire he has inside of him. At this point, it would be safe to say that Trae Young and the Hawks are going to be back with a vengeance next season.
