Dwyane Wade is one of the NBA's most popular athletes, stemming from his selection by the Miami Heat in 2003. Wade has built a legendary career as a premiere shooting guard who has built a reputation for winning championships. In 2006, Wade led the Heat to their first championship against the Dallas Mavericks and captured the series' Finals MVP award. Unsatisfied, Wade recruited his best friend LeBron James to the Heat and won two more championships in 2012 and 2013. Although his career is slowly fading now, Wade is well-known among his peers and continues to play good basketball for the Heat, who are on the verge of making the postseason since he left in 2016.

Wade is also known for his actions off the court. In 2014, Wade married actress Gabrielle Union, forming a celebrity marriage that has garnered widespread media attention over the past few years. Of course, there is always going to be critics or insane social media users who just live to taunt celebrities on any given day. Interestingly, Wade interacted with a Twitter user who proclaimed that his life's goal was to steal Union away from Wade.

After reading the tweet, Wade surprisingly responded with a quirky statement, giving the user some insight on how difficult his life goal would be.

I normally don’t shoot other people’s goals down but your gonna need alil more than luck on your side with this one but i commend you for setting your goals close to impossible!

Maybe Mr. Rinker will think twice about plotting to perform grand theft on Wade, especially since the three-time NBA champion is two steps ahead of him.
