One of the biggest stories heading into Game 3 between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Miami Heat is whether injured center Joel Embiid will suit up. Hassan Whiteside made it clear, however, that he's not very concerned about Embiid returning when asked about it at the team's morning shootaround.

“I don't know, I don't know man I'm not even thinking about what Philly is going through, I am just thinking about what the Heat are going through.”

For Embiid, he is now probable to play according to Keith Pompey of the Philly Inquirer, and head coach Brett Brown said there is still a chance he could play after being labeled as doubtful last night.

“He still remains doubtful,” Sixers coach Brett Brown told Manny Navarro before his team went through shootaround Thursday morning.. “He went through stuff [Wednesday] that was decent. He had a little bit of contact, trying to get used to the mask, felt some bodies but at this stage, we’re listing him as doubtful.”

“It’s a collaborative thing with Joel and doctors and me. It’s all this stuff. It revolves around comfort. I feel like we’re responsible with his health, those types of things.”

Embiid has made it very well known that he wants to return and help his team retake the series lead and home-court advantage. For Whiteside, though, he doesn't seem all that worried about whether or not Embiid is playing. He's trying to do the same in helping the Heat take a 2-1 series lead and protect home court.
