Miami Heat great Dwyane Wade was playing some pickup basketball over at New York and one player reportedly got under his skin.

As reported by Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, Tom Weingarten of Overtime, who watched Wade play said that the guys over at New York were pretty aggressive with him:

“One guy who guarded Dwyane was very intense and called lots of fouls on Dwyane and Dwyane wasn’t happy about it,” Weingarten said. “Guys were aggressive with Dwyane. They weren’t taking it easy on him.”

Wade played a total of 90 minutes. Sam Gordon, editor in chief of Overtime, observed that Wade wasn't going full throttle against the New Yorkers. Although the Heat legend did some of his patented moves which included a few elbow jumpers and a Eurostep en route to a teardrop layup.

Gordon admitted his excitement of playing against one of the greats in basketball:

“It’s not every day you get to play with one of the greatest NBA players of all time,” Gordon said. “I couldn’t go to sleep until early morning [Thursday morning] because we were so excited.”

Right now, Wade hasn't signed with a team just yet. But he has already stated that he will only don the Heat's colors if he decides to lace those sneakers up for one more season.
