NBA free agency is almost here and teams are preparing for a wild time. The Miami Heat had a couple of decisions to make before the start of free agency, specifically regarding Andre Igoudala and Goran Dragic, and they announced both of those decisions on Sunday.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Heat declined Igoudala's option, making him a free agent.

Igoudala has been rumored to a number of teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, and the $15 million option was always too much for a player towards the end of his career. Then Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the Heat have picked up the option for Goran Dragic.

So Dragic is back in Miami, and Igoudala is more than likely out. The Heat have made no secrets about their efforts to link up with point guard Kyle Lowry, one of the most coveted players on the free-agent market, and these moves all but hint at a strong run at the Toronto Raptors veteran.

After the Heat lost in the first round against the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Playoffs, they went to the drawing board and trying to do whatever it takes to make another deep playoff run in 2021-2022 and beyond, and adding Lowry would be a huge boost for the Heat.

Get ready, it is going to be wild.
