During the Miami Heat's matchup with the Utah Jazz, Derrick Jones Jr. managed to throw down an explosive two-handed slam over Rudy Gobert.

The play developed with Gobert being near the restricted area in transition. After catching the ball near the corner, Jones Jr. made an aggressive drive to the basket and decided to challenge Gobert's rim protection in the air. It ended up working out very well for Jones Jr. as he managed to finish the dunk in a thunderous fashion.

It's not often that a player is able to legitimately pull off a dunk over Gobert given his 7'8″ wingspan. It seems that Jones Jr. is one of the rare players that has the combination of height, length, and athleticism to actually finish it off.
