The Miami Heat will be without Jimmy Butler, Goran Dragic and Kendrick Nunn against the Phoenix Suns on Saturday.

This will be the third game in a row the Heat will be without its best player in Butler.

Are the Heat just playing it safe with Butler or is there something wrong with his foot? We'll likely find out once the playoffs start. If Butler isn't playing up to his usual standards, we may have an idea why.

In his first season with the Heat, Butler is averaging 20.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.1 assists in 56 starts. The five-time All-Star is also shooting 45.6 percent from the field, 24.8 percent from beyond the arc and 83.7 percent from the free throw line.

As for Dragic and Nunn, the former is dealing with an ankle injury while the latter has left the Orlando campus.

The Heat missed the playoffs in 2018-19, which was kind of sad since it was Dwyane Wade's final campaign in the NBA. However, with Butler and Bam Adebayo leading the way in 2019-20, Miami has established itself as one of the toughest teams to play.

Once the playoffs start, the Heat will ultimately go as far as Butler and Adebayo can take them. Miami fans are hoping the squad can make an Eastern Conference Finals run.
