The Charlotte Hornets have been a surprise team, for the most part, this season. The addition of LaMelo Ball sparked the Hornets into becoming a competitive team in the Eastern Conference. However, due to his injury, Charlotte has dropped a tad in the rankings.
Even so, that hasn't stopped this team from competing at a high level, off the efforts of players such as Miles Bridges. Though he isn't averaging more points scored, Bridges is having a career year in terms of efficiency, per Statmuse. In fact, he's accomplishing a feat that no other player in Hornets' franchise history has ever managed.
Miles Bridges is on pace to become the first Hornets player to have a 50/40/80 season in franchise history.

Absolutely incredible numbers by Bridges this season. He mainly comes off of the bench and runs with the rotational players, however, he plays valuable minutes for Charlotte, averaging 28.4 minutes per game. He's become a valuable asset to the Hornets this year and could potentially be a starter for the team next season.
Additionally, Bridges has been throwing down monster dunks throughout his year as well. He had a sick jam over Clint Capela and the Atlanta Hawks not too long ago, then threw down another one on Thursday against the Chicago Bulls, per Bleacher Report.

With just 13 games left on the schedule, the Charlotte Hornets are making their final push to earn a spot in the playoffs. They're currently in eighth place and have a great chance to partake in the play-in game this year. At 2.5 games behind sixth place, the Hornets still have an opportunity to climb the ranks and clinch a playoff berth before the regular season ends.
