Things got heated between the Charlotte Hornets and the Orlando Magic on Thursday night and unsurprisingly, Montrezl Harrell was in the middle of what turned out to be a bench-clearing fight between these two sides.

For starters, here's a look at the incident that led to the ejection of Harrell, and two other players from the Magic:

Harrell started off as a peacemaker as he tried to prevent a charging Brook Lopez from confronting one of his Hornets teammates. What Harrell did not appreciate, however, is how Orlando's second-year forward Admiral Schofield shoved him forcefully from behind. Things quickly took a turn for the worse. All three players were eventually thrown out of the ballgame.

After the contest, Harrell quickly took to Twitter to share his reaction to the incident. The Hornets big man appears to be calling out Schofield here for what he alleges to be a “cheap shot:”

“Call it what you want you not bout cheap shot none my teammates while they back turnt that’s over!” said in his Tweet.

This is the type of toughness and no-nonsense attitude the Hornets require from Harrell. He's become a bit of an enforcer for this team as Charlotte looks to progress in the playoffs this season.

The Hornets made easy work of the Magic on Thursday, 128-101.
