With the Jacksonville Jaguars Week 8 game being against the Seattle Seahawks, we should see a solid performance out of both franchises. Each team needs a win and this one could come down to the wire. It's why we'll be evaluating this Jaguars-Seahawks game with some Jaguars' Week 8 predictions in mind.

The defense hasn't been all that great, but they could prove to be a problem for Seattle on Sunday. This is a big opportunity for Jacksonville to take advantage of a struggling Seahawks team. For that reason, we could see them shut down the run game on Sunday.

There is some solid talent on the Jaguars' offense. A ton of hype was built up around Laviska Shenault being a big-time playmaker. We could see that come to fruition against Seattle. Additionally, this is a great matchup for James Robinson to continue playing like an elite running back. Furthermore, we could see Trevor Lawrence take a huge leap in development.

With that said, here are four bold Jaguars Week 8 predictions for their game against the Seahawks.

4. Jaguars defense shuts down the Seahawks run game

This game will likely be a mess, which leans in the Jaguars' favor. The Seahawks haven't been the same since Russell Wilson was sidelined with a hand injury. Geno Smith hasn't been able to lead Seattle to a victory and has looked mediocre while filling in for Wilson.

We should see Jacksonville take advantage of the hobbled Seahawks. Look for the Jaguars to apply pressure on Geno Smith throughout this game, as they'll hope to make him uncomfortable early and often.

3. Laviska Shenault finally lives up to the hype

It's been an up and down season for the second-year receiver. However, he has a ton of talent and should be implemented into the offensive scheme more often. With DJ Chark out for the season, now is the time for Laviska Shenault to step up and play like the star receiver Jacksonville needs.

2. James Robinson eats the Seahawks defense alive

James Robinson has been an incredibly consistent running back since last year. So much so, the Jaguars didn't have to draft Travis Etienne in the 2021 NFL Draft. He's a beast and has proven to be a dominant running back in the NFL. Robinson displays elite-level skills out of the backfield.

Simultaneously, the Seahawks have one of the worst defenses in the league. They can't slow down the run to save their lives and we should see James Robinson feast throughout the game. Keep an eye on Robinson, as he could be in store for the biggest performance of his career so far.

1. Trevor Lawrence lights up Seattle with 350+ yards and 5 touchdowns

It's been a rough go for the quarterback rookie class so far. However, this is a prime situation for Trevor Lawrence to prove to the league why he was taken number one overall. Jaguars fans should be drooling over this matchup, as Lawrence could finally be in for a breakout performance.
