The Jacksonville Jaguars have lost a number of contributors this offseason, with wide receiver Allen Robinson leaving for the Chicago Bears and Aaron Colvin signing with the Houston Texans. That doesn't mean they haven't been active, as Jacksonville has re-signed Marqise Lee, brought in star guard Andrew Norwell, and now they're signing another playmaker in Donte Moncrief.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Jaguars and the former Indianapolis Colts receiver have agreed to a contract, which will be signed when the new league year officially begins on Wednesday.

Jacksonville was hit with injuries to their receiving core this season, but a number of young players stepped up alongside Blake Bortles. Without Robinson, Lee had a breakout campaign for the Jaguars, and Keelan Cole emerged as a dangerous deep threat. Moncrief also joins Allen Hurns and Dede Westbrook to fill out a strong unit to compliment Jacksonville's dominant rushing attack. Letting Robinson go allowed Jacksonville to solidify their offensive line with the Norwell signing.

A third-round pick by Indianapolis in 2014, Moncrief hauled in 96 receptions for 1,177 yards and nine touchdowns in his first two seasons in the league. His numbers have dipped quite a bit in the two years since, coinciding with various injuries that have limited his playing time.

Along with the Jaguars, the Baltimore Ravens were rumored to be in the running for Moncrief. They also had interest to acquiring Jarvis Landry before the Miami Dolphins dealt him to the Cleveland Browns. Baltimore has reportedly moved on to targeting former Arizona Cardinals receiver John Brown.
