With training camp now in full swing, there are position battles to follow along with throughout the entire landscape of the NFL. Surprisingly, Tim Tebow trying to make it with the Jacksonville Jaguars hasn't turned into a full on circus act.

According to Cole Pepper of News4Jax.com and via ProFootballTalk, Tebow is currently buried on the depth chart for the Jaguars.

The unofficial depth chart lists Chris Manhertz as the starter, following by James O'Shaughnessy at No. 2 and Luke Farrell as the third-string option. Tebow is lumped in to a three-person “or” group, including Ben Ellefson and Tyler Davis.

Tebow presumably needs to at least rise to clear-cut No. 4 to have any shot at making the 53-man roster. The more likely outcome would be placement on the practice squad, with the opportunity to be called up for game days.

What might be most surprising is that the Jaguars don't appear to have much legitimate depth at the tight end position. This isn't a team that has a runaway No. 1 option that is known widely throughout the rest of the league. Despite that, Tebow still appears to be lumped in somewhere around No. 4 on the unofficial depth chart.

It isn't the only position battle going on as Urban Meyer still hasn't named Trevor Lawrence the starting quarterback for the Jaguars. It would be a shock if Lawrence wasn't the QB1 come time for the regular season opener.

For Tebow, he will have a chance in the preseason and will really have to stick out to climb the ladder on the depth chart to try and earn a spot on the roster for the Jaguars. It's not impossible although it may be improbable.
