Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey and defensive end Dante Fowler returned to the team on Monday after a one-week suspension but their lips are sealed, and they won't be open for media availability until after their third preseason game on Saturday.

The two were suspended after there was a fight in practice and Ramsey went after a reporter on Twitter who filmed the fight. The suspension didn't stop Ramsey from talking though and in a GQ article, he called the likes of Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco trash.

A lot of Jaguars players came to Ramsey's defense including Calais Campbell who said he likes how authentic he is and that he isn't afraid to speak about whatever comes to his mind.

“I love how authentic he is,” defensive end Calais Campbell said, via John Reid of the Florida Times-Union. “He does not beat around the bush at all. Some of those guys might try to play their best games against us, but that is how it is supposed to be anyways. It is just one of those things where he has opinions. He likes voicing them and it makes him a special guy.”

As much trash as Ramsey has talked about others around the league he has backed it up with his play on the field, and Malik Jackson thinks that gives Ramsey the freedom to say whatever he wants.

“If you can back it up, you can say whatever you want,” Jackson said. “At the end of day, he’s a top-rated player. So if you he wants to go out there and talk about somebody or talk to somebody or talk about every quarterback in the league then go ahead. I think he has the skills to back it up. So I don’t care.”
