The Jacksonville Jaguars have suspended All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey for one week according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network for violating team rules.

Defensive end Dante Fowler was also suspended for one week for “Violating team rules and conduct unbecoming of a Jaguars football player.”

The Jaguars are traveling to Minnesota later this week for two joint practices and a preseason game and neither player will be traveling with the team. The suspension comes after there was a fight in Jaguars practice on Sunday and Ramsey went after the reporter on Twitter posting the following tweet.

After the suspension was announced, it was clear that Ramsey had no regrets and posted on Twitter that he would continue to support his players.

It appears this is the video that Ramsey took exception too that was posted by Phillip Heilman of Jacksonville.com of the fight.

At the end of the video, a Jacksonville player tells Heilman to stop recording it, and according to some reports, it was Ramsey who was yelling for the camera to stop rolling.

Fowler was the one in the fight, and it appears that might have something to do with the suspension. Ramsey and Fowler being suspended is going to hurt the team's preparation more than it will the two players probably. By getting suspended the two get a nice vacation during the middle of training camp, something most veteran players wouldn't complain about. It's unclear if there is a fine that will go along with the suspension.
