Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette is one of the many NFL players unhappy with their “low” Madden 19 rating. He’s so displeased that he’s actually asked EA to take him off the game completely.

Fournette previously retweeted a video of his upset reaction upon hearing his Madden rating. The game’s official Twitter account then replied with a stock letter asking him to make his case to them for why he deserves a higher score.

But Fournette decided he didn't have time for that and countered that he’d rather be removed from the game.

The Jacksonville Jaguars running back had a strong rookie season as he rushed for 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns. However, did have a less than impressive 3.9 yards per carry average. His 87 rating was only good enough to land him in a tie for 10th among running backs in the game along with LeGarrette Blount, Dion Lewis, and Christian McCaffrey.

Unsurprisingly, Fournette scored poorly in his passing stats (68 in catch rating, 56 in catching in traffic, and 54 in spectacular catches), which pulled down his overall rating. He had a pedestrian 36 catches for 302 yards with a receiving touchdown last year, so that’s certainly a part of his game that he can still improve upon.

Obviously, Madden won’t take Fournette out of the game despite his (probably not-too-serious) protests. Instead, Jags star should focus his frustration and energy on raising his relatively low score if he can impress EA sufficiently with his performances-particularly in the passing game-to bump up his ratings once the regular-season updates come out.
