Nick Foles hasn't finished an entire game in his stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars after getting injured in the team's season opener. However, it seems like he will be sidelined for an extended amount of time as he starts his recovery.

Foles sustained a left clavicle fracture, commonly known as a broken collarbone, after going through an x-ray examination. According to Pro Football Talk's Charean Williams, he will undergo the blade on Monday but has no set timeline for his return.

“We don’t have a time span,” Foles said. “We’re going to take it one day at a time. . . .I’m going to do everything I can to get back as quickly as I can to where I’m ready to roll.”

He also expressed his frustration with being unavailable for the next couple of weeks.

“It’s not the way you want to start your time here,” Foles said. “It’s unfortunate, but at the same time, I’m going to stay positive and trust the good Lord in this time. Sometimes things don’t happen like we expect them to, but we just have to have faith that it’s for a reason. I’m still grateful I get to be a part of this team. I’ll have surgery tomorrow to get this thing rolling and trust the good Lord for healing and be ready to roll when I am.”

Foles won Super Bowl LII with the Philadelphia Eagles and was one half of the legendary Philly Special that won then the championship. Team coach Doug Marrone hopes that he recovers quickly and reinstate himself in the starting lineup.
