Yannick Ngakoue and the Jacksonville Jaguars could be headed for a messy divorce.

Amid rumors that the Jaguars are shopping Ngakoue around in trade talks, the pass rusher first tweeted on Monday that he was “tired of the back and forth s–t,” and now, he is getting into it with Jaguars senior vice president Tony Khan:

Jacksonville slapped a franchise tag on Ngakoue last month. The general consensus all along has been that the Jags will eventually trade him, and now, things appear to have reached a boiling point.

Ngakoue is coming off of a 2019 campaign in which he played 15 games and registered 41 tackles, eight sacks, an interception, four forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, six passes defended and a defensive touchdown.

The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Maryland, was originally selected by the Jaguars in the third round (69th pick overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.

He played in every game during his rookie year, finishing with 23 tackles, eight sacks, a pick and four forced fumbles. Then, the following season, Ngakoue broke out, racking up 30 tackles, 12 sacks, six forced fumbles, a pair of fumble recoveries and a defensive touchdown en route to a Pro Bowl appearance.

Ngakoue then had another strong campaign in 2018, totaling 28 tackles and 9.5 sacks.

The Jaguars reportedly haven't received much interest in Ngakoue on the trade market just yet, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Jacksonville went 6-10 this past year and has fallen off significantly since making it all the way to the AFC Championship Game back in the 2017-18 campaign.
