Yannick Ngakoue has expressed his desire to be traded from the Jacksonville Jaguars, but that isn't going to take place until the team lowers their asking price for him. Ahead of the draft, it's been reported that Jacksonville's compensation demand for Ngakoue is too steep.

On Wednesday night, it was rumored that the Las Vegas Raiders were possibly interested in acquiring Ngakoue. Within the supposed discussions of the trade, the Raiders were willing to surrender the No. 19 pick for him.

However, the Jaguars weren't interested in completing a deal with the Raiders unless they got the No. 12 pick. Given that, the talks between Las Vegas and Jacksonville seem to have subsided, for the time being.

Just last offseason, Dee Ford was sent to the San Francisco 49ers from the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for a second-round pick. In addition, the Chiefs would land Frank Clark from the Seattle Seahawks for a first- and second-round pick.

Perhaps the Jaguars view those trades as the guidelines of what they could get in a trade involving Ngakoue. While they seem set on getting a first-round pick for him, Jacksonville could be longing for an early first-rounder.

With the 2020 NFL Draft beginning on Thursday, the Jaguars would love to move the Pro Bowl defensive end before or during the draft. Though, it doesn't help that Ngakoue and Jacksonville's Senior Vice President got into a heated discussion on Twitter.

There's no doubt that Ngakoue is itching to join a new team as soon as possible this offseason. But until the Jaguars are willing to lower their asking price, Ngakoue isn't going to be a happy camper.
