Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew has managed to light things up against the Tennessee Titans in Week 3 of the 2019 NFL season. It has become evident early on that he and wide receiver DJ Chark share quite a rapport.

Chark had already been on the receiving end of a 22-yard touchdown pass to start the game. Just after halftime, Minshew found him once again on a beautiful back-shoulder throw.

Minshew's connection with Chark helped him join Byron Leftwich as the only players in franchise history to throw a touchdown pass in their first three career games. This one essentially solidifies the notion that both of these players might be the real deal in Jacksonville.

Minshew has seen his star power increase exponentially since taking over under center for Nick Foles. More importantly, his emergence has provided one of the few bright spots for the Jaguars amidst their tumultuous start to the season. While some of the headlines on social media have been fixated on his look, it is his play that has helped kick things up a notch for him both on and off the field.

Meanwhile, Chark continues to thrive while serving as Minshew's safety net in the passing game. He has established himself as a primary option for Jacksnville after recording 11 receptions for 201 yards and two touchdowns heading into Week 3. He continues to make his case with another strong performance against the Titans.

The chemistry between Minshew and Chark is undoubtedly an encouraging sign for the Jaguars, considering this is a Titans defense that had given up a mere 182.5 passing yards per game through the first two weeks of the season.
