Amateur boxer and social influencer Jake Paul is still trying to provoke UFC star Conor McGregor into a fight, this time by going after his friends.

Paul threw water balloons at McGregor's jiu-jitsu coach, Dillon Danis, with Danis chasing down Paul's entourage before the truck drove away.

This is just the latest in a string of activities Paul has engaged in so as to coerce McGregor into an exhibition bout.

Paul has chirped at the former two-weight UFC champion on Twitter and even made McGregor's wife, Dee Devlin, his lone “Following” account on Instagram.

Apparently, Paul thinks knocking out a retired NBA player who did not train for their bout qualifies him for taking on one of the most dangerous mixed martial artists on the planet.

Paul's vicious knockout of Nate Robinson on the undercard of the Mike Tyson-Roy Jones Jr. exhibition became a viral sensation, and the YouTuber used that platform to call out McGregor.

But the “Notorious” one is just a bit busy right now.

McGregor is preparing for a lightweight bout against top contender Dustin Poirier, which is the main event at UFC 257.

Not only will it mark McGregor's first fight in nearly a year, but also figures to have massive implications for the lightweight title picture following the retirement of undefeated champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Even if McGregor is hoping to return to the ring, he is more likely to do so against Manny Pacquiao than Jake Paul.

Danis himself is pretty accustomed to petty drama. The Bellator fighter continuously prodded at Nurmagomedov in the buildup to the fight between “The Eagle” and McGregor, ultimately resulting in a massive brawl after Khabib secured a submission win.
