Jason Terry knows a thing or two about winning big games.

Terry won a championship with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011 and is one of the league's oldest veterans at 38 years of age. It's safe to say that the guard has seen it all.

With his Houston Rockets trailing 3-1 in their series versus the Golden State Warriors, Game 5 literally becomes a must-win scenario for Houston. What does Terry think of the Rockets' chances for the next game? Apparently, he's pretty confident they'll win, according to Calvin Watkins of ESPN:

“I'm guaranteeing it,” Terry said Tuesday. “If I don't, then what? It's a loss, right. I guarantee victory — that's what it's going to take. I believe in my group. I know we can get a win here and send this thing back to Houston.”

Stephen Curry will be out for the remainder of the series due to a knee injury, so that does improve Houston's chances of pulling off an upset in Game 5. However, the Rockets have lost their three games by an average margin of 20.6 points.

If it means anything, Terry did have the Larry O'Brien trophy tattooed to his bicep before the 2010-11 season, the year in which the Mavericks upset the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals.

Maybe the old veteran knows something about forecasting the unexpected.
