One of the most-highly anticipated films of the year has got to be “Spider-Man: Far From Home.” The film’s producers recently dropped another trailer, and it was a treat for Marvel and NBA fans alike, as it featured Utah Jazz superstar Donovan Mitchell.
Known by his moniker of “Spida,” it was only natural for the team behind the Spider-Man sequel to ask the Jazz shooting guard to make a cameo on the film’s newest trailer. It turned out to be a cross-promotional gig, as the brief clip also featured Mitchell’s signature Adidas kicks.

The best bit of the trailer has got to be Mitchell wearing the Spider Suit, but the cameo of Jake Gyllenhaal — the actor who plays the film’s villain, Mysterio — at the end was also pretty awesome.
Mitchell appears to be enjoying his summer so far, and has had some time to work on some non-basketball related activities. Nonetheless, we’re sure that he is merely taking a much-deserved break, and should be ready to go once training camp commences.
Last season, Mitchell put up 23.8 points (on 43.2 percent shooting), 2.4 three-pointers, 4.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.4 blocks in 33.7 minutes per contest. The 22-year-old produced even better numbers compared to his rookie campaign, and nothing is stopping him from performing at an even higher rate next season. The former 13th overall pick has yet to hit his prime, and in his case, the sky is definitely the limit.
