After suffering their first defeat of the season to the Chicago Bulls, the Utah Jazz quickly regrouped and returned to the win column after outlasting the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks didn't have Khris Middleton who joined Jrue Holiday, Brook Lopez, and Donte DiVincenzo on sickbay. But despite their depleted lineup, they didn't easily budge. Luckily for Jazz fans, star Donovan Mitchell came through in the clutch with back-to-back baskets in the final two minutes.

After the win, which helped the Jazz improve to 5-1, Mitchell said he never shies away from the pressure-packed moments (via ESPN).

“I think that's really like my job, to kind of go out there and have that imprint, that moment. It could have easily went the other way real quick.”

The 25-year-old Mitchell, who finished with 28 points against the Bucks, sure has had his fair share of game-saving buckets in his career. His ability to manufacture shots under duress makes him a dangerous weapon in crunch time. The Jazz have survived not a few games because of the All-Star guard's sheer audacity to take over in tight situations.

Some critics have chided Mitchell in the past for his tendencies to play hero ball. But in the last few seasons, he has learned to be more of a well-rounded player.

The Jazz, currently tied with the Golden State Warriors for the top spot in the Western Conference, will gun for win no. 6 on Tuesday against the Sacramento Kings.
