Donovan Mitchell had 31 points, four steals and two rebounds in a loss to the Philadelphia Sixers. Yes, the 31 points is impressive, but there are a couple of negatives here: No assists and bad shooting.

Mitchell shot 13-for-35 from the field. One of the only positives you can take away from this was Mitchell being aggressive from the offensive side of the floor, even though he only made 13 shots.

Mitchell was pretty down on himself after the game.

The game Mitchell is referencing is the game when then New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony had 62 points and 13 rebounds. He also had zero assists and attempted 35 shots.

If the Jazz had won the game, it could have been reacted in a different way. However, head coach Quin Snyder thought there were some positives for Mitchell.

With the loss, the Jazz moved to 7-8 on the season. It has been a slow and disappointing start for the team, after they took people by surprise last year and defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder in five games in the first round of the playoffs.

Mitchell also seems to have been getting off to a slow start as well, as he is averaging 21.2 points, 4.0 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. He is shooting 40.8 percent from the field and 27.6 percent from three.
