Utah Jazz point guard Mike Conley admits he still gets Memphis Grizzlies notifications on his cell phone.

Conley makes his return to Memphis on Friday. The Grizzlies selected Conley with the fourth overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft out of Ohio State University. The veteran guard is Memphis’ all-time leader in games played, assists, steals and points.

Conley finished his Grizzlies career with averages of 14.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 5.7 assists while shooting 44.1 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from beyond the arc and 81.9 percent from the free-throw line.

The Jazz are getting one of the best point guards in the game and are looking forward to seeing how he meshes with shooting guard Donovan Mitchell. Utah is 8-3 on the season entering Friday.

With the Jazz, Conley is averaging 14.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. He's shooting just 36.9 percent from the field, 34.4 percent from beyond the arc and 78.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Utah is hoping Conley will get it together, sooner rather than later.
