The Utah Jazz have been dealt a major blow in Game 5 as they try and close out the Memphis Grizzlies. Veteran point guard Mike Conley has been ruled out for the remainder of the game with right hamstring soreness.

The Jazz are up 3-1 and trying to finish out the first-round series against Conley's former employers. However, this could spell a bit of bad news for the Jazz in their hopes of a deep Western Conference run.

Jazz All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell missed a chunk of time at the end of the regular season and even missed Game 1 of the series against the Grizzlies before making his long-awaited return. However, the potential loss of Conley could be tough for this Jazz team to overcome, especially considering Conley's veteran presence that he brings to the floor.

The Jazz finished the regular season as the top seed in the Western Conference and are aiming for a run at an NBA Finals trip, which would be remarkable considering the toughness of the West.

For now, they will have to make do without Conley and his health and status will be something to keep an eye on as they push forward in the NBA Playoffs and try to continue their successful season.
