The Utah Jazz were dealt a scare when Ricky Rubio and Thabo Sefolosha both went down with injured hamstrings. That being said, the team was given decent news on Tuesday regarding the two players. According to Shams Charania and Tony Jones of The Athletic:

“Utah's Ricky Rubio and Thabo Sefolosha both had clean MRI results today on injured hamstrings — with Rubio expected to miss approximately two weeks and Sefolosha out 10-12 days.”

All things considered, that isn't the worst case scenario for the Jazz. If they can both return to action in a couple weeks without any lingering issues, Utah should consider themselves lucky.

Rubio has started in every game he's played this season, and although his shooting numbers are down slightly, he is still a key part of what Utah does. Sefolosha plays a much more minor role for the Jazz. The 34-year-old guard is more of a fringe rotational player for head coach Quin Snyder, but he's a tough loss nonetheless. Sefolosha is a 13-year veteran and a dependable defender.

Utah was a trendy pick to be a top contender against the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference this season, but they have faltered through much of the season. The Jazz are currently 20-21 and are two games out of the eighth spot in the West. They have hovered around the .500 mark for most of the season.

The team is hoping for guys like Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell to carry them down the stretch of the season. If they make the playoffs, they have the experience and talent to surprise someone in the first round.
