Things haven't been going well ever since Adam Gase took the head coaching job of the New York Jets back in 2019. Three-time Pro Bowl running back Le'Veon Bell's career also went downhill since joining the team last season.

The former Michigan State Spartan saw a decreased role especially with the arrival of 16-year veteran ball-carrier Frank Gore. Bell recently saw limited minutes and was pulled out of practice even if he was in a healthy condition.

He cleared rumors about an apparent hamstring injury and took his frustrations with the situation on Twitter:

NFL Network reporter Kim Jones tweeted the recent developments between the two sides:

Adam Gase was also accused of not being able to handle the Jets' locker room last season. Several Jets players also figured in a heated exchange earlier this week which involved linebacker Jordan Jenkins against guards Alex Lewis and Greg Van Roten.

The Jets weren't looking good on the field as well. The team finished with a subpar 7-9 record last season and placed third in the AFC East division. Another losing season in 2019 eventually saw the team miss out on the postseason for nine straight seasons.

Le'Veon Bell was not able to contribute much on the offensive side of the field despite being relatively healthy last season. He only recorded 789 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns to go along with 66 receptions through 15 games played. His numbers were a far cry from his All-Pro form back in his days with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Gang Green will definitely need the eight-year veteran to be at his best if they want to save another season from going down the drain. Hopefully, both Bell and Gase will be able to iron things out before the start of the season and save the team from becoming a total dumpster fire.
