Many consider Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins as two of the best young players in the league today, and will continue to become the face of the Minnesota Timberwolves in the years to come. That said, there are not a lot of duos that can rival their collective talent and potential.

However, they also have another game outside of basketball where they excel at, and the 7-foot center has claimed that no other NBA teammates can beat them at it.

Towns was referring to the video game Call of Duty, where he admits to have advanced skills. He also named Wiggins as the other player he knows who he is really good in the game, and then added, via Aaron Dodson of The Undefeated, that he is positive that they can both take on anyone in the NBA.

“From what I know … it has to be Andrew Wiggins. It’s funny that you have two great Call of Duty players on the same team, but we found a way in Minnesota to make it happen.”

“I guarantee Andrew and I can take any other duo in the NBA.”

Not only did he acknowledge his teammate’s mastery of the video game, but it also goes to show how good their relationship is on and off the court. At a very young age, the two have shown a lot of improvement in their games since entering the league. They are also the first top pick teammates to win Rookie of the Year in consecutive seasons, giving the Minnesota faithful plenty of optimism for their team’s future.

With the arrival of Jimmy Butler, the Wolves will have their own “Big 3” now, and could only be a few key pieces away from making waves in the West. It remains to be seen what kind of success they’ll have starting next season, but with Towns and Wiggins in sync, the future is bright for the Timberwolves.
