Kevin Durant is back to responding to online trash talkers. A frequent target for internet trolls because of his flight to a Golden State Warriors team that some had already considered the best team in history, Durant is constantly ridiculed and called a quitter and a ring chaser.

A teenager on Instagram took it a step further today, posting a picture of Durant, Kawhi Leonard, and Anthony Davis that claimed that while the three were all elite players, they don't have the effect on a game or the leadership abilities that Stephen Curry and LeBron James do.

There are hundreds of posts like this floating around online, and the majority of them go ignored.  But Durant took exception to this one and actually responded to the fan, commenting on his post.

“Bruh go sweep your dorm room, u don't know hoops. Stop tagging me in this trash.”

But the back-to-back Finals MVP wasn't done there.  He slid into the posters DM's to make his point clear, calling him a knockoff Stephen A. Smith. The teen fired back, saying:

“You know it's true that's why your insecure a** responded to me. Why don't you actually prove you can LEAD a team to a championship. Not even in the same galaxy as LeBron.”

Seems like the comment struck a particularly sore point for Durant.  He has been clear that he wants to be seen as one of the all-time greats by the time he retires, and that his legacy is important to him. Unfortunately for him, you can't please everyone on the Internet.
