Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert is one of the top shot-blockers in the league today. Apparently, De'Aaron Fox of the Sacramento Kings just does not care.

Fox threw the hammer down on the two-time Defensive Player of the Year winner with an emphatic one-handed finish (h/t Rob Perez on Twitter):

Fox took some time to see what was going on in the half-court set. As soon as he saw some daylight, he blew past his defender and rushed to the basket. He absolutely knew that Rudy Gobert was going to contest his dunk attempt so the Kings guard had to finish strong. And so he did.

Gobert saw Fox coming all the way, but it did look like he was a split-second late on his contest. That was all Fox needed to elevate and to put the Jazz man on a poster.

In the end, though, it was Utah that emerged with a win over the Kings, 128-112. De'Aaron Fox had a night to remember, finishing with 30 points and eight assists, but Donovan Mitchell of the Jazz willed his side to victory. Mitchell, who himself turned in his entry for block of the year against rookie Tyrese Haliburton, logged a game-high 42 points in another dominant display.
