Former NBA head coach George Karl didn't hold back in his response to DeMarcus Cousins after the Denver Nuggets big man went on an emotional rant about the Sacramento Kings.

In a recent interview with Marc J. Spears for Andscape, Cousins fired some scathing remarks about the Kings and his time there. Aside from proclaiming that he's the best player to ever come through the franchise, he also shared how much he has done more for the organization than they did for him.

“What did Sac do for me?” Cousins said. “Besides say my name [draft day]. I did more for them than they did for me. That’s just being honest. Just being 100% honest. I had two owners, three GMs, seven coaches in seven years… Not much more needs to be said.”

Upon seeing DeMarcus Cousins' comments, though, George Karl responded with a huge rebuttal on how it was the Kings who gave him the opportunity to play basketball for a living. Not to mention that they were the ones who gave him more than $50 million in salary. After his first three seasons in the NBA, Cousins signed a four-year rookie extension worth $65.6 million with Sacramento.

For what it's worth, though, Cousins and Karl have a long-standing feud. It all started when the former NBA coach took over the Kings at the end of the 2014-15 season and he pushed for the team to trade the big man.

When Cousins found out about it, he called Karl a snake. It hasn't been good between the two ever since, with both of them throwing shade at each other from time to time.

Now, by the looks of it, that feud won't be ending any time soon.
