Draymond Green of the Warriors has nothing but high praise for the Sacramento Kings, and he recently praised the team's “young core.”
According to NBC Sports, the so-called “young core” of the Kings that Draymond Green is extolling is what's driving their record number of wins. They're fast, limber, and able to score, and that's the key to having a successful team.
“It’s a youth movement in Sacramento. Young players make up most of the Kings’ rotation and so far, it’s working. The team is off to a fast start, posting a 12-11 record over their first 23 games. We’ll track their improvements throughout the 2018-19 campaign.”
Some players are proving to be of particular note, including Frank Mason III, Justin Jackson, and Willie Caulie-Stein.
But of particular note to the press is De'Aron Fox, who — despite his rough start earlier in the season — has really shown the potential to be a star.
“Fox continues to draw praise from around the league. He’s had a small rough patch in an otherwise great start to the season, but he continues to push the tempo and lead the Kings in their new style of play. Still just 20-years-old, Fox has the talent to be a star in the league and he’s taking the necessary steps to get there in his sophomore season.”
It should be interesting to see if Draymond Green continues to laud the “young core” of the team once he has to face off against them, but Green is a formidable player himself, so he should be fine.
