Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox proved he is one sly fox on Monday, tricking the entire Minnesota Timberwolves team to force overtime during their match at the Target Center.

With his team down by two, 117-119, with just 4.7 ticks left in regulation, Fox displayed some veteran smarts by giving himself the best chance to tie the ball game. The 22-year-old Kentucky product was at the line to shoot one more free-throw and trim the lead to one.

Instead of trying to convert the freebie, Fox took everyone by surprise when he bounced the ball off the backboard. The ball ricocheted in his direction, and he quickly scooped up a left-handed lay-up before the Timberwolves defense could react.

De'Aaron Fox's heads up play forced overtime, and the Kings went on to steal the game in the extra five minutes with a 133-129 comeback win.

Fox delivered with a near triple-double of 22 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds in 37 minutes.

Apart from notching their second straight win, the Kings also become the first team in 8,379 tries to come back from a 17-point deficit in the final three minutes. Sacramento improved its record to 17-29 and are now just a game behind the 12th-placed New Orleans Pelicans in the Western Conference standings.
