The New York Knicks take their three-game win streak on the road as they take on the Boston Celtics Monday night. This game will continue our NBA odds series as we hand out a Knicks-Celtics prediction and pick. We will also let you know how to watch the game.

The Knicks are finally playing well, and they have gotten their record over .500. All three of their wins on their win streak have been by at least 14 points, as well. The Knicks have already played the Celtics, and that came on the first game of the season. They lost a close one by four points in that one. R.J Barrett was the leading scorer for the Knicks with 24 points. Immanuel Quickley put up 24 points off the bench, as well. Jalen Brunson, and Julius Randle had tough shooting days in the loss, so they will look to have a better game in this one.

The Celtics are 7-2 this season, and they have won their last two games. Boston crushed both the Brooklyn Nets, and Toronto Raptors in those two games. In the win against the Knicks earlier this season, Boston was led by Jayson Tatum. Tatum put up 34 points, and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the team in both categories. Kristaps Porzingis was excellent in his debut in a Celtics' jersey. He had 30 points with eight rebounds. Jaylen Brown had a tough game, but he has been able to play very well this season overall.

Why The Knicks Could Cover The Spread

The Knicks have been playing very well the last three games. They are finally hitting their stride, and it is fun to watch. Julius Randle had a historically bad start to his season, but it is finally starting to look good. During the three game win streak, Randle is averaging 24.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. In that time, he has shot 44.6 percent from the field. That number is pretty average, but it is much better than his percentage to begin the season. R.J Barrett is averaging 24.7 points during the win streak, as well. New York has their star players clicking right now, and if that continues, they will cover the spread.

Why The Celtics Could Cover The Spread

The Celtics can score with the best of them. They are fifth in the NBA in points per game with 120.7. Boston makes the third most threes per game, and they will need to be at their best in this one. New York plays very good defense, so the Celtics need to take good shots, and play well offensively. Tatum, Brown, and Porzingis are all playing well this season, and that has to continue in this game. If two of those three players can have a good game, the Celtics will cover the spread.

Final Knicks-Celtics Prediction & Pick

Both of these teams play a great defense. They are both top-6 in points allowed per game, so offense will not come easy. This game will be decided on defense. The Celtics are almost 10 points favorites, and I think that is entirely to high. The Knicks are playing good basketball right now, and these two teams always play close games. I am going to take the Knicks to cover the spread.

Final Knicks-Celtics Prediction & Pick: Knicks +9 (-106), Under 222 (-114)
