The difference between Julius Randle's 2020 and 2021 seasons are night and day. Just last year, New York Knicks fans thought that the former Lakers lottery pick has finally found his groove, earning his first All-Star nod. However, this year, Randle has regressed significantly, going from All-Star to just a “meh” player.
Add to that Julius Randle's penchant for fighting back against everyone and getting ejected, and there's no wonder Knicks fans are harsh on him. According to one source of the New York Post, many people in the organization are worried about Randle's psyche.

The latest development in the Randle saga was his ejection on Friday night against the Suns. The Knicks were leading by a huge margin in the third quarter, with their former All-Star having a pretty good game. However, he inexplicably blew up at Cam Johnson after a rough box-out, getting himself ejected in the process. Johnson would then proceed to sink the team with a dagger buzzer-beater.
Those types of losses are unacceptable for any team, especially considering that the Suns didn't have both Devin Booker and Chris Paul. The Knicks are slowly sinking back to their bottom-feeder days. If they want to have any hope of salvaging what's left of this season, it has to start with Randle getting back to his glory days.
