After his promising stint at Providence, many took notice of Kris Dunn‘s potential as he went on to become one of the most sought-after talents in this year's draft.

Despite playing the backup role to Ricky Rubio and only getting limited playing time, the 22-year-old rookie has shown signs of brilliance in the young season. During Sunday night's game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Portland Trail Blazers, Dunn pulled-off a move mostly seen on playgrounds or exhibition games.

With 8:35 left in the third quarter, he bounced the ball off the side of Shabazz Napier and got himself an open lane to the basket before dishing out to a wide-open Gorgui Dieng who knocked down an easy jumper, to the delight of the crowd inside the Target Center.

However, even with this play, the Blazers had the last laugh of the night as they came out with a rare road victory, 95-89, with C.J. McCollum posting a new career-high of 43 points.

The win helped improve their record to 15-21 this season despite playing without their All-Star point guard Damian Lillard. The Timberwolves lost for the third time in five games and now have an 11-23 win-loss slate.
