In an appearance on ESPN Radio's “Marcellus and Kelvin”, Lonzo Ball said that he was working out with former Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Nash and current Golden State Warriors main man Kevin Durant at the Lakers' practice facility this past Saturday.

“KD came up there to work out last week. I got to work out with him and that was cool. Him and Steve Nash. So that was a lot of fun and a good experience.”

Drafted number two overall by the Lakers, Ball proved himself to be a dynamic guard as he led Los Angeles in the Las Vegas Summer League on his way to earning MVP honors. However, some missing links are evident in Ball's game, and working out with one of the best point guards in NBA history along with arguably the league's deadliest offensive weapon may help develop those assets for Ball.

Interestingly, Lonzo Ball's father, LaVar, recently questioned what Nash could contribute to his son's development, being smaller and slower than the Lakers rookie — but that's probably something that many didn't take too seriously given Steve Nash's elite status.

If Lonzo Ball were to start for the Lakers this upcoming season at the guard position, which he most probably will, mastering the pick-and-roll and changing speeds will both come in handy, benefiting teammates Brandon Ingram, Julius Randle, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Larry Nance Jr. in the process.

It's comforting to know that for all his talents at a young age, Ball still knows the best avenues from which he can learn more about the game.
