Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis has emerged as one of the top players in the game today. As such, he's been unable to escape the privilege of being a full-blown meme on certain occasions.

One such instance was when a tearful image of Davis shortly after the Lakers clinched the 2020 NBA title was quickly converted into a meme that unsurprisingly went viral. According to AD, however, he doesn't mind being the next Crying Jordan meme at all:

“When we won, obviously I was a meme, crying and things like that, but that was one of the best feelings in the world, for sure, and I want to have that feeling again,” Davis said in a recent interview with Rachel Nichols of ESPN (h/t Christian Rivas of Silver Screen & Roll). “And a couple more times. You know, I don’t want to be a one-stop shop, you know, a one-time thing, you know, you won one, I want multiple. And I think that’s the drive behind this season.”

Clearly, Davis already has multiple titles in mind. He's not the type that will be resting on his laurels, and one championship will not be enough for the seven-time All-Star.

Right now, the Lakers are in a tremendous position to repeat as back-t0-back NBA champs. Davis has been doing his bit to ensure that this dream becomes a reality, but there's no denying that he's had an up-and-down start to the campaign thus far. Needless to say, Davis will need to be at his very best if he hopes to lead his squad to another title in 2021.
