Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis spent much of his summer filming for Space Jam 2 alongside his teammate, LeBron James. Now that Davis has some movie experience under his belt, is there a chance he does some more Hollywood stuff?

Davis says probably not:

“That was a one-time thing,” Davis said at Lakers media day, via ClutchPoints. “That was very time-consuming. At least now, I don't see any movies in my near future. It was a fun experience.”

To say that 2019 has been a whirlwind for Davis would be an understatement.

Long before starring in Space Jam 2, Davis was mired in another miserable season with the New Orleans Pelicans, which ultimately led to him asking for a trade midway through the 2018-19 campaign.

Davis faced heavy criticism for the way he handled his trade demand and because he appeared to be trying to steer his way to the Lakers.

The Pelicans decided to hold on to Davis through the trade deadline, creating an incredibly awkward situation in New Orleans. He played sporadically throughout the second half of the year, appearing in 56 games total during his final season with the Pels.

The Pelicans then landed the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, which made moving on from Davis a whole lot easier. New Orleans talked to both the Boston Celtics and the Lakers about AD, but the former didn't make the best possible offer because Davis was not willing to commit long term.

As a result, Los Angeles acquired Davis in exchange for Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball Josh Hart and draft picks.
