On the day his team received good news on his impending return to action, Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis was spotted putting in some light work ahead of the game with the Boston Celtics on Thursday.

Peep the clip below to see Davis casually nail a perimeter shot. According to Lakers head coach Frank Vogel, Davis can now participate in full-court activities.

Vogel did not release a timeline yet. Davis did not suit up for the Lakers against the Celtics and will also likely sit out against the Utah Jazz on Saturday and Monday.

In his return, the head coach of the Lakers noted Davis will play in a 15-minute restriction per night. The goal is to build up his strength and stamina once again after suffering a calf strain on Feb. 14 against the Denver Nuggets.

After Davis suffered the injury, reports revealed that the recovery time for that sort of injury is four weeks. However, the Lakers opted for an extended rehabilitation period to make sure Davis is at a hundred percent once he returns.

Without Davis, the Lakers managed to squeeze out a 13-14 record.

During Davis' absence, the Lakers also lost star forward LeBron James to a high ankle sprain. Reports reveal that James might return next month.
