Anthony Davis put up a defensive clinic for the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, as he locked down Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler in a crucial Game 4 matchup between these two sides. NBA analyst and former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins was left in awe of Davis' brilliance on the defensive end, and Perkins used quite a metaphor to depict how impressed he was with AD.

Perkins was all praises for Davis, and he made sure to make his feelings known on ESPN's Get Up:

That's one way of putting it I guess. It's just hard not to picture Perkins' graphic metaphor at the very end of his statement above. Then again, he effectively got his point across, so I guess that's what matters most, right?

Davis finished Game 4 with 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting, nine rebounds, four assists, a steal, and four blocks in 42 minutes of action. We've seen more monstrous stats from AD in the past, but as Kendrick Perkins described above, his defense all night long was what made his performance stand out. Even LeBron James could not help but heap praise on his All-Star big man for his amazing showing on Tuesday night.

Throughout the first four games of the Finals, Davis has shown how dominant he can be on both ends of the floor. This makes him a strong candidate for Finals MVP over none other than LeBron himself. That's probably the last thing on Davis' mind right now, though, with his eyes fixed solely on the championship.
