Los Angeles Lakers superstar big man Anthony Davis is probable to face the Golden State Warriors on Thursday.
Davis suffered an elbow injury on Tuesday versus the New Orleans Pelicans, but it looks like he's fine.
Davis has appeared in 49 games for the Lakers this season. He's averaging 26.7 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists while shooting 50.9 percent from the field, 32.3 percent from beyond the arc and 84.5 percent from the free-throw line.
The Lakers have the best record in the Western Conference at 44-12.
AD’s long-term health is important to the Lakers. The franchise wants to make sure Davis is as close to 100 percent once the playoffs start, which means he could sit out a few games here and there during the regular season if he’s nicked up.
Davis becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer once he declines his 2019-20 player option with the Lakers. The prevailing thought is the Chicago native will re-sign with Los Angeles, though.
With LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading the charge, the Lakers have a good chance of winning the championship this season.
