Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis says “it's a great time” for LeBron James as his son Bronny James Jr.'s high school career takes off.

Bronny will play against LeBron’s high-school alma mater on Saturday, St. Vincent-St. Mary high school. The King will be in attendance to watch his son play.

“I mean, it's a great time for him,” Davis said, via ESPN's Dave McMenamin of ESPN. “He's kind of reliving his past, watching his son play and go through everything — all the media and all the games they're playing on TV.”

Like his dad, Bronny is going to have a lot of eyes on him in high school. He’s playing alongside James' close friend Dwyane Wade’s son, Zaire.

LeBron’s dad wasn’t there for him growing up, which is why the Lakers star and NBA icon promised himself he was going to be the best dad whenever he had kids. James and his wife, Savannah, have two sons and one daughter.

Life is pretty good for the elder James right now. His Lakers are tied with the Milwaukee Bucks for the best record in the NBA, He is playing like an MVP now that he’s healthy again, and Bronny is making a name for himself in high school.

Bronny’s Sierra Canyon team is 7-0. The Lakers are 23-3. LeBron is averaging 25.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 10.8 assists on the season.
