Los Angeles Lakers superstars Anthony Davis and LeBron James already seem to have great chemistry on the court, especially in the pick-and-roll game.

Davis, fresh off of winning the Player of the Week Award, admits he's “surprised” how quickly he and LeBron have meshed, via Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson of Heavy:

With respect to Dwyane Wade, Davis could be the best teammate LeBron has ever had. AD is in his prime and one of the most efficient scorers in NBA history.

Davis is averaging 28.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 3.0 blocks on the season. He’s shooting 46.7 percent from the field, 22.2 percent from beyond the arc and 88.3 percent from the free-throw line.

The Lakers are 5-1 and have won five games in a row since losing to the Los Angeles Clippers on opening night.

Davis is the first Lakers player to win the Player of the Week honor since Kobe Bryant back in the 2012-13 season. LA has been a walking disaster for a couple of years, but with LeBron and Davis leading the charge this season, the Lakers are back to being a championship contender.

Through the Lakers’ first six games of the season, James is averaging 25.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 11.2 assists. The four-time MVP and three-time champion is shooting 47.4 percent from the floor.
